Read full biographyJoshua is a founding partner and Executive Creative Director of Rice—a Vietnam-base studio developing strategic branding and visual identities for commercial and cultural clients. Joshua believes that excellent, elevating, impactful design can transform organizations, give shape to extraordinary stories, and make positive change. Rice is known for Vietnam-based brands such as Marou Chocolate, as well as developing relevant, award-winning work for Coca-cola, UNICEF, UBER, and UNIQLO.
Joshua is a member of AGI. His work has received accolades from Red Dot, Pentawards, A’Design, Graphis, the Dieline, Type Directors Club, Brand New, and an IDA award for “Graphic Design of the Year for UNICEF Vietnam. Broadcasting work from Vietnam, Rice has been published in Monocle, Wallpaper* UK, BRAIN (Japan), IdN, and UC quarterly, as well as in books from Taschen, Gestalten, Victionary, and Counter-Print.
Joshua has spoken internationally about design as a change-maker—and inspiration in general. Joshua is a believer in working out of one's comfort zone to learn, evolve, and push boundaries.
