Marou Chocolate

Joshua  Breidenbach

Marou sourced cacao, from seven small family farms located in southern Vietnam, to make chocolate. Bright colors derived from the fresh cacao pods at the farms identify various products in a range. Re-worked traditional lattice patterns received hand-drawn cacao pods and auspicious clouds. Typography carries inspiration from early modern French signage found in Vietnam, noting the origin of cacao in Vietnam. The packaging is hand-printed in gold ink.
