Peter Moser trained at the Lucerne School of Design from 1978–83. From 1989–96, he worked for VIPER, International Festival for Film, Video and New Media Lucerne. Until 1996, Peter worked alone in various studio partnerships in Zürich and Lucerne. In 1996, he became a member of Velvet Creative Office in Lucerne. Besides working for advertisers such as Völkl Ski and Paiste Cymbals, Peter particularly dealt with customers in the cultural sector. In 2004, he started working for the famous Munich Kammerspiele studio theatre, designing a series of posters covering three seasons, focusing on religion, war and society. In 1997, for example, Velvet was in Havana, Cuba and in 2003 in Tirana, Albania, to portray the city and a renovated children’s hospital. In December 2005, Velvet was in Laos to document a landmine clearance project.
