Read full biography1938: Michalis’s family arrive in Athens. 1951–55: studies painting in Paris with André Lhote, and graphic design with Paul Colin. Shows his paintings and from then on has solo shows of paintings and sculptures and takes part in group exhibitions in Greece and Europe. 1960–67: art consultant to the Greek Tourist Board. 1962–74: co-founds and directs K&K Advertising with F. V. Carabott. 1962: receives first prize in the International Tourism Poster Competition (Livorno) and in 1965 the Golden Cross of the Order of the Phoenix for exceptional contribution to Greek design. 1974: establishes AMK Architects & Designers, specializing in environmental design. 1979 on: exhibits at the Galerie Denise René, Paris and participates in exhibitions all over the world with Denise René. His works are found in the Athens National Gallery, the Greek National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, the Musée Matisse, Le Cateau-Cambrésis, France, and other collections.
