From early on in his career Ben has been interested in 20th-century avant-garde design. In his opinion, image complexity, through the use of different techniques like (photo)collage and overprinting, is always of minor importance in comparison with the clear visual language of the design.
Ben works for cultural clients creating a large number of posters. He did more corporate work for government and semi-government bodies and designed several books.
