Minchaya Chayosumrit is a graphic designer and printmaker based in Bangkok. She graduated from Silpakorn University and continued her study in Communication Design at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London where she developed her interests in handwork and printmaking processes. In 2013, she co-founded a small studio, The Archivist & STH. to PRINT, specializing in hand-pulled screen prints, selling art prints, collaborating with graphic designers and illustrators. During her career, she had displayed her work in a group exhibition at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), Greyhound Headquarter, “Co-Host: Lanna Revisited” in Chiang Mai Design Week 2014, participated in “systems14” print project by Braun Design in Peking and recently, “Shibukaru Matsuri goes to Bangkok”. In 2015, her studio had organised a group show, “An Original by the Originals” collaborating with 12 artists/designers and has been running workshops, about hand-pulled screen print constantly.

      Minchaya Chayosumrit is a graphic designer and printmaker based in Bangkok. She graduated from Silpakorn University and continued her study in Communication Design at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London where she developed her interests in handwork and printmaking processes.       The first group exhibition by The Archivist, a Bangkok-based printing studio specialising in hand-pulled screen prints, consists of the studio inviting 12 artists, graphic designers and illustrators that have expertise in various approaches (both emerging to the established) to collaborate and create unique pieces of works through the process of screen printing, showing artists’ thinking processes layers by layers, experimenting and influences between the printers and the artists.
