The ‘175 years of Dutch railways’ stamps comprise a collage of images including trains, locomotives, old and new NS logos, station clocks and old and new railway stations. Each individual stamp is a collage of several images. History, future and dynamic development are key. The stamps were chosen as the most beautiful Dutch stamps of 2014.

    The stamps portray the rich history of railways in the Netherlands.     For over thirty years Wout de Vringer has been designing for corporate and cultural clients in The Netherlands and occasionally abroad, creating posters, invitations, brochures and an occasional exhibition. The last couple of years he specializes in the design of art and photography books.
    De Vringer has taught graphic design at academies in Den Bosch and Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and giving workshops and lectures around the world. His work is represented in many solo- and group exhibitions internationally. His work can be found in the permanent collections of Museum für Gestaltung Zürich (Switzerland), Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (Germany), in the Bibliothèque Nationale de France Paris (France) and in the MoMA New York (USA) and is published in over eighty international graphic design books and magazines.
