Studied at ESDI, Rio and the RCA, London and taught at the NY School of Visual Arts, and the Istituto Europeo di Design, São Paulo where he is head of the graphic design masters course. Designer and art director, he works between Paris, London, NY, São Paulo and Rio for fashion, cultural, corporate and TV clients such as MTV, Le Monde, NY Times, Time, Newsweek, Big magazine, Gallimard, Random House and Natura. One-man shows at Centre Pompidou, Paris; NY MoMA and Museum of Contemporary Art, Brazil. Awarded at the NY ADC, NY SPD and the ADG and 21st São Paulo Biennials. Elected ‘Designer of the Year 2001’ in Brazil. Features in the collections of the Musée d’Histoire Contemporaine, Musée de l’Affiche and Bibliothèque Nationale and Chaumont, France; Museum of Contemporary Art, São Paulo and Die Neue Sammlung, Munich. Features in books including: Non-Traditional Design, First Choice, All Men Are Brothers and Design of Dissent and magazines such as Graphis, Print and Creative Review.
