Henrion wrote of him: ‘Manzi trained in Naples. He worked for the editorial departments of various papers in Rome and Milan. His experience in the newspaper world inspired him to do a series of cartoons portraying the contemporary world. His approach is frequently humorous, as in his advertisement for a Milanese restaurant. Later he devoted much of his time to painting and advertising. Since 1953, his work has been exhibited at various galleries in Milan, Rome, Modena, Parma and La Spezia.’
