Studied at Lucerne Art School, then AD in Paris. Own studio in Willisau since 1973. Won many national and international design competitions and prizes. His posters are in the most important design collections such as Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, the Hamburg Industrial Arts Museum, the Wilanow Poster Museum in Warsaw, the Staedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the German Poster Museum in Essen and the Poster Collection at the Design Museum Zurich.
Poster exhibitions all over the world. Gives workshops and lectures worldwide.
Major disciplines: posters, illustration, art on architecture and products.
Lives in Willisau/Switzerland and Berlin.
