Karin Fong directs and designs for film, television and environments. Before joining Imaginary Forces (then RGA/LA) in 1994, she studied art at Yale and worked as an animator at WGBH Boston. She designed numerous title sequences for feature films, including Ray, Hellboy, The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio, The Avengers, and Charlie’s Angels. Karin has also directed commercials for Janus Mutual Funds, Honda, and Chevrolet, as well as promotional films for Herman Miller. Experience design includes show content for the Wynn Las Vegas ‘Lake of Dreams’, visual entertainment for the 4-block-long screen at Las Vegas’s Fremont Street, tour visuals for DJs Sasha and John Digweed, and video and print projects for Malcolm McLaren. She recently designed projections for the LA Opera/Lincoln Center’s production of Grendel. Karin has taught workshops at Art Center, RISD, Cal Arts, and has been a guest critic at Yale. She splits her time between Los Angeles and New York.
