Studied at Central School for Arts and Crafts, London, tutored by Colin Forbes and Alan Fletcher ; began her career in editorial design and art direction at Town magazine; assistant to Tom Wolsey who set bench mark for her career. Art Editor of Topic magazine during the Cuba Crisis; later at The Illustrated London News, designed issues for Churchill’s funeral and Kennedy assassination. At The Times showcased the best of English illustration in The Saturday Review and the pioneering women’s pages with editor Suzanne Puddefoot. The ’Collins-Puddefoot axis’ described by The New Statesman as ‘currently the best thing in British journalism’. With designer John Pym won numerous awards. redesigned The Times 1970. Left The Times after shutdown in 1979 to art direct the news magazine Now! For The Aga Khan was consultant for the redesign of The Nation, and The East African in Kenya. Art directed Working Woman magazine. Finished career as Group Art Director of the ILN Group. Retired to paint.

    Studied at Central School for Arts and Crafts, London, tutored by Colin Forbes and Alan Fletcher ; began her career in editorial design and art direction at Town magazine; assistant to Tom Wolsey who set bench mark for her career.
