Haeok is interested in interweaving and threading a strand of texts, images and pages within the structure of a book, focusing on the relationships observed among them. Since 2014, she has been collaborating with Shin Donghyeok under the name of Shin Shin, while also teaching at Universities and synchronizing her interest with students. Shin Shin have created graphic identities, promotional materials, publications and websites for many cultural institutions and individuals. They continue to pursue self-initiated projects alongside their participation in various exhibitions. In 2020, they established their own publishing house, Hwawon, to focus on the performative aspect of design practice. Their work on FEUILLES earned them the prestigious Golden Letter for Best Book Design from around the world in 2021 (Stiftung Buchkunst, Germany).
