Dan Solbach is a Swiss graphic designer based in Berlin, Germany working with art books and visual identities. His practice focuses on design for artists, galleries, and contemporary art institutions. He is a founding member of Kona Books, an independent publishing house and independent book store based in Tbilisi, Georgia. He teaches and lectures internationally.
His clients include among others institutions and galleries such as Fridericianum, Kassel; Haus der Kunst, Munich; Kunsthalle Basel; Kunsthalle Zürich; Kunstverein der Rheinlande und Westfalen Düsseldorf; KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin; Mudam Luxembourg; Tank Shanghai; and White Cube, London.
His work was awarded the Most Beautiful Swiss Books and the Swiss Design Award, and he is twice the recipient of the Goldene Letter, the highest distinction for the Best Book Design from all over the world.
