Christof Gassner was educated at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich under the guidance of Walter Käch and Josef Müller-Brockmann. Followed by various industry and publishing assignments. Then starting in 1966, set up own graphic design studio in Frankfurt am Main; relocated to Darmstadt in 1992. The design studio specializes in editorial design, corporate design, typography, poster, book and stamp design. In the 1980s: ecological projects, co-founder and art director of Öko-Test Magazin, 1986–2006: professor of graphic design and typography at the Fachhochschule Darmstadt and at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, then visiting lecturer in China.

    Christof Gassner was educated at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich under the guidance of Walter Käch and Josef Müller-Brockmann. Followed by various industry and publishing assignments. Then starting in 1966, set up own graphic design studio in Frankfurt am Main; relocated to Darmstadt in 1992.
