Yayoi Kusama Museum

Yoshiaki Irobe

Branding project for the private Museum of Yayoi Kusama, an avant-garde artist. A visual identity is designed based on Yayoi Kusama’s handwritten signature and pictograms are much inspired by her drawings. This design evolves in the environmental design, enabling visitors to fully enjoy Kusama’s world. The manner of typography same as the logotype, which is used for small goods and the visual identities of Kusama’s other organizations as well, is also applied to the wayfinding design.
