Watchmen - Main Title Sequence

Garson Yu

To set up a foreboding tone in this 6-minute sequence, the main characters are introduced in key events from the alternate history of the comic book series. 3D typography is organically incorporated into each scene, bathed in bright yellow, to play off the blood splattered happy-face icon that is a key visual component to both the graphic novel and film.
