Swiss banknotes

Jörg Zintzmeyer

The eighth series of Swiss franc banknotes, designed by Jörg Zintzmeyer, entered circulation in 1995. These banknotes are 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 1000 francs and were all issued between 1995 and 1998. The ninth series (designed by Manuel Krebs) entered circulation in 2016 and are gradually replacing Zintzmeyer's iconic banknotes.
