He has been an advisor and consultant on numerous publications, including Wallpaper*, Harper’s Bazaar and frieze. As typographic consultant to The Guardian in 2005 he designed the Guardian set of typefaces with Christian Schwartz for the iconic redesign of the newspaper under the direction of Mark Porter. With Schwartz he founded Commercial Type in 2010. He has made custom faces for Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Trust, Visa, Puma and Rapha. He has designed many retail faces including the iconic Dala Floda and Marian.
He has taught and lectured extensively in the UK, Europe, US, Asia and Australia.
