    Verena Panholzer, Austria (2019)

Verena Panholzer is the Art Director and founder of Studio Es, a studio for visual communication. Beside her studio work she is giving lectures on several universities in Vienna and beyond. Since 2017 Verena is a active member on board of ‘100 Best Posters’ association. After finishing Graphic and Communication Design College and studying Industrial Design at the Kunstuniversität Linz, Verena worked in the design department at TBWA Berlin on clients such as Adidas, Apple and Sony. For the last 13 years she has been running the studio in Vienna, mainly working with clients from the fields of arts and culture (e.g. Diagonale; Festival of Austrian Film, Wien Museum, MdbK Leipzig, NRW-Forum, keen on magazine and — more recently — Foto Wien). The highly conceptional work of the studio organizes flexible systems in their mainly identity-based output. Through the years the studio has received numerous international awards and she has been invited to join juries, conferences and festivals.
