After working as an art director in leading Argentine design studios, he turned his focus to typography, developing typefaces for branding, packaging, editorial, and cultural projects worldwide.
His work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club of New York and TDC Tokyo and featured in numerous international exhibitions and biennials. In 2011, he became the first Argentine designer invited to join the Alliance Graphique Internationale.
Ale’s typefaces and personal projects are held in collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires. Through Sudtipos, his teaching, and his international lectures and workshops, he has played a central role in bringing Latin American type design to a global audience.
