As part of the annual AGI Congress a thematic project is given to the members to create for an exhibition/publication interpreting the city where the Congress convenes. Paris 2001, San Francisco 2002, Tokyoto 2006, Berlin 2009, London 2013, and Brazil 2014.

    Carin Goldberg, USA (1998)

    Carin Goldberg was born in New York City and graduated from The Cooper Union School of Art in 1975.
    She began her career as a staff designer at CBS Television, CBS Records and Atlantic Records before establishing her own firm in 1982. Her image making expanded to book jacket design, publication design, brand consulting, editorial illustration, authorship/curation, and poster design. Carin has taught Typography, Senior Portfolio Thesis, Design History and Editorial Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City since 1982. In 2014 Carin won the Cynthia Hazen Polsky and Leon Polsky Rome Prize for Design and spent six-months at The American Academy in Rome reinventing her work and her creative
    trajectory.
