    Dimitris Arvanitis, Greece (2004)

    Dimitris Arvanitis studied painting and graphic design between 1966–72. 1976–85 Art director for EMI Records Greece and 1986–90 for Tachidromos magazine, Greek Film Centre, Thessaloniki Film Festival. He also designed magazines as: Jazz, Periodiko, Minima, Diphono, Adobe Magazine, Ntefi, Jazz & Tzaz and Kaleidoscopio. He is amazingly productive, designing book covers, posters, records sleeves, logos and typography. He worked for his own studio, Espresso Studio until 2011. Now as a retiree is working occasionally on design. Arvanitis is one of the few Greek graphic designers who are active on an international level. He writes articles on design for magazines and newspapers, and has participated in many poster festivals around Europe.
