Mother

Pablo Juncadella

We were asked to create the naming and identity for a new cold pressed juice company starting in Barcelona. The first of its kind in the city. We wanted to express the love and care behind these fresh fruit and vegetable juices (they only last for 72 hours), while representing the technological and industrial processes (cold press is a rather new technique that requires expensive machinery).

    Pablo Juncadella, Spain (2015)

Pablo Juncadella was born in Barcelona in 1977 and graduated with honours at Eina School of Design and Art (Barcelona) in 1999. He worked at Grafica and Pentagram London before founding Mucho (together with his partner Marc Catala). During his first 3 years of Mucho he combined running the studio with being the joint creative direction of the UK newspaper The Observer. Today Mucho incorporates the original independent studio mentality with partners in San Francisco, Paris and Barcelona.

Pablo's approach to design is focused on simplicity, wit and creative problem solving with an interest in typographic expression.

He is a teacher at Eina School of Design, director of the Masters degree on Graphic design At ELISAVA and co-author of “No somos hormigas”.
