    António Silveira Gomes, Portugal (2010)

    Born in 1971, Mbombela (Nelspruit), South Africa. Studied Graphic Design (1990-92) in Johannesburg. Finished studying in Lisbon, Portugal (1997) and co-founded the studio Barbara says…
    António has a PHD in Contemporary Arts Studies, currently he is assistant lecturer at the Coimbra University, and guest lecturing at other Portuguese design courses in Lisbon. The studio, works closely with theatres, museums, galleries, artists and social innovators. Antonio´s work has been widely published and presented in various exhibitions and competitions.
    Through his professional work, in parallel with academic investigation, he has worked in order to develop reflection concerning Design practice, History and Theory.
