    Swip Stolk, Netherlands (2000)

    Swip was a self-taught designer who has run his own studio since 1965. He taught graphic design at the AKI Academy, Enschede (1974–79) and Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam (1980–87). Selected projects: 1968: exhibition architecture and electronic catalogue for ‘Environments’ exhibition at the Museum Catharijneconvent, Utrecht. 1977– 79: art director for VARA Television. 1987–2000: art director for Groninger Museum. 1998: art director of Rembrandt House Museum, Amsterdam. 2002– 2006: several Code/Uncode projects. 2003: shop design for Jan Jansen Shoes. 2005: Geluk/ Happiness, publication in cooperation with Anthon Beeke. 2006: design of rubber and steel objects.
