    Alexandre Dimos, France (2014)

Alexandre Dimos co-founded deValence studio in Paris in 2001 and B42 publishing house in 2008. Specializing in the fields of graphic design, visual communication and typography as well as the artistic supervision of publishing projects, it emerged as a major player in French and European cultural circles. Designing publications, visual identities, signage, internet sites and interfaces for a variety of contexts, both public and private, it has carried out projects for cultural institutions, publishing houses, commercial brands, press associations, artists, architects, etc.
deValence clients include Centre Pompidou, Harvard Graduate School of Design, La Commune theater, Fondation Cartier, Maison & Objet and they regularly work with French artists such Raphaël Zarka and Mathieu Abonnenc.
It was as a continuation of this approach that, in 2008, deValence established the magazine Back Cover and Dimos founded the publishing house B42, both focusing on the areas of design, typography and the visual arts.
He is pursuing a research about contemporary Japanese graphic design.
