Noriaki Hayashi has worked on graphic design with geometric compositions, continuously updating this time-honored mode of expression and establishing his own unique realm. His deep pursuit of form, space, and rhythm on a flat surface has become increasingly acute in recent years, and his appeal, which is similar to that of abstract painting and calligraphy, has get him high acclaim and a strong presence in the Japanese design world, winning the Tokyo TDC Award, the Tokyo ADC Award, and others.
Many of Hayashi’s works were created for Joshibi University of Art and Design, and have poetically expressed the identity of the artuniversity.
He has taught at this university for a long time, nurturing many younger students while at the same time deepening his owndesigns.
