Innsbruck International

Thomas Kronbichler

Studio Mut created the identity programme and design for the Biennial of the Arts in Innsbruck, Austria. The design includes posters, advertising, program books, and a mobile website. The distinctive portraits of the 3 leading artists / performers create an immediate connection with the audience. With the basic elements in place — the typeface, the colour, the Innsbruck International ribbon — we were free enough to design very different media without loosing the Innsbruck International brand.

    Thomas Kronbichler, Italy (2018)

Thomas Kronbichler is a Graphic Designer and co-founder of Studio Mut, one of the most influential graphic design studios in Italy. Working at the intersection of 3 cultures and even more languages — Südtirol is in Italy, but borders to Austria and Switzerland — their visual language balances northern rigour with Italian flair. Thomas has an obsession with weird drinks, so if you want to be his friend, get him a can of luke-warm watermelon flavoured iced tea, mixed with cheap rum.
