Grand Park N.Y.E.L.A.

Garson Yu

A projection map spanning the top 22 stories of City Hall was created for Los Angeles' New Year's Eve Celebration. Covering the South and West walls of the tower, it is the tallest sound interactive display ever produced in Los Angeles. During the four hours leading up to midnight, the building was transformed into an interactive sound equalizer, where dancing visuals were driven by the beat of the music. The heart of the piece was a ten-minute narrative celebrating the city of Los Angeles.
