    Vera Lucía Jiménez is a peruvian graphic designer with studies in Journalism and Critical Theory. Her work primarily centers on editorial design and self-initiated projects, especially within the cultural sector across Latin America. Her research explores topics related to the ambiguity of visual communication, the effects of technology in situated design practices and the creative potential of resourceful ways of production. Her projects have taken various forms, including print and online projects, mostly using typography, illustrations and custom-made or modified tools. In collaboration with KWY, an independent editorial project founded by photographers Musuk Nolte and Fernando Fujimoto, had developed several photo books, most of them addressing social and political issues in Latin America, and participated in the main photo book events such Rencontres d'Arles, Paris Photo and FELIFA.
