Each year the institute puts together a conference exploring architect, design and cultural themes. In 2010 Mel Dodd, an architect and academic (Currently Programme Director of Spatial Practices at Central Saint Martins in London), curated a programme exploring the concept of Extra / Ordinary, As the name suggests a communication scheme exploited ordinary things in extraordinary ways across all media from identity, print, advertising, digital, to student onsite projects and interactions.
