    Daniel Wiesmann, Germany (2019)

    Born 1978 in Ludwigsburg, Southern Germany, Daniel studied communication design at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart with Niklaus Troxler. During his studies he worked as an intern in the studios of Tamotsu Yagi (San Francisco) and Peter Buchanan-Smith (New York). After graduating in 2007, he moved to Berlin, where he worked with the design studio cyan for three years. Daniel has been running his own studio since 2010. He is in charge of the visual identity of the dance company Sasha Waltz & Guests, the Ludwigsburg Festival, and the Markthalle Neun in Berlin-Kreuzberg. He also works for publishers, artists, musicians and filmmakers.
