    Finn Nygaard, Denmark (1997)

    Finn Nygaard studied at the Academy in Aarhus and the Design School in Kolding during the seventies. He established his own studio in 1979. From 1990 to 1995 he was a partner in the famous Danish design group Eleven Danes and the European Designers Network EDEN. Since the beginning he has created posters, illustrations, graphic design and corporate identity programmes and colour consulting for Danish and international companies and organizations, including Egmont, Venstre (the Danish poltical party) and for the EM 2002 Handball for Women. He has created more than 300 posters, for many of which he has received awards. Most famous are those for the Aarhus International Jazz Festival. Finn has had several one-man exhibitions, and his posters and design projects have been shown in major galleries and museums all over the world; several of his posters have found their way into permanent collections. Finn is a frequent guest lecturer to student and professional groups all over the world.
