    Anders Beckman, Sweden (1952)

Anders Beckman, was a gifted artist, architect and marketing guru. He was the founder of Beckmans College (1939), which is still one of the most important design schools in Sweden today. As a pioneer in Swedish advertising art, he was responsible for many prestigious projects such as marketing for the World’s Fair in New York, 1939. He was the designer of the complete identity for the Helsingborg 55 Exhibition. Anders also organized a special pavilion in which the AGI could show its members’ work. After his sudden death, Ashley Havinden wrote: ‘Anybody who had the privilege and pleasure of Anders’s friendship will never forget his ebullient character and fun-loving zest for life.’
