    André Stolarski, Brazil (2012)

    André Stolarski, born in 1970 in São Paulo, graduated in 1994 and postgraduated in 2012 at FAU USP. He was Design Director at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro and was General Communications Coordinator at the Biennale São Paulo. He was also an associate at Tecnopop, a renowned Brazilian design studio, with offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

    Although his work as a designer covered a wide range of projects, from corporate identities to books and exhibition design, most of them were related to the cultural realm. He worked with some of the most renowned Brazilian museums, publishers, musicians, filmmakers and art producers.

    Stolarski taught at ESDI and ESPM, in Rio de Janeiro. He also worked as a researcher, reviewer, editor and translator on specific design issues such as Brazilian design history, typography and design theory.
