Between 1985–89 he studied at the China Academy of Art, and in 1997 founded IMAGRAM Graphic Design. He is vice-president of Shenzhen Graphic Design Association and has won numerous awards, including: excellence award, Graphic Design in China; gold award, Hong Kong International Poster Triennial, 1997; three consecutive silver awards and excellence awards, Hong Kong Design Show; bronze award, Chinese National Art Exhibition, 1999; silver award and bronze award, Hong Kong Designers Association Awards, 2005. His work has been selected by the 5th International Triennial of Posters in Toyama, Japan, Helsinki International Poster Biennial 1997, the 18th International Poster Biennial of Graphic Design in Brno, the 16th International Poster Biennial in Warsaw; the 4th & the 6th International Biennial in the Poster in Mexico. For three consecutive years (2004–2006) he had works selected for the TDC Annual Awards.
