    Gunter Rambow, Germany (1974)

Hans Hillmann was Rambow’s professor and taught him his sense of form. Rambow created numerous photo books and designed posters on the themes of literature, theatre and social issues. He has won many silver and gold medals at poster festivals, biennials and triennials f.i. in Warsaw, Moscow, Chaumont, Lahti, Brno, Toyama and New York. Between 1974 and 2004 he taught as a professor for visual communication at the University of Kassel and the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe. During this time numerous books of his projects were published by renowned publishers. Rambow is very glad that so many former students are successful in practice or are now even active as teachers. In 2004, as emeritus professor, he bought the former mansion house of Count von der Lühe, built in 1583, in the town of Güstrow where he lives and works.
