In this collection of classic text about design, the three parts of the book were separated in three little stapled books, each one of them an impression with pantone, and all of them reunited by the cover. The book cover, which opens in a strip of almost a meter, is a timeline that localizes the year of each text and the lifetime of each author, proving the coexisting and overlaps.       Elaine Ramos runs a small design studio based in São Paulo, and is partner of the publishing house Ubu. For 11 years, she was the art director of the publisher Cosac Naify, where she designed hundreds of books and coordinated the design catalogue. During this period she edited, with Chico Homem de Melo, the Linha do tempo do design gráfico no Brasil [Timeline of Brazilian Graphic Design], a book that gathers more than 1600 images and traces an unprecedented panorama of the local design production. In 2014 she co-curated the exhibition Cidade Gráfica, held at Itaú Cultural in São Paulo. [itaucultural.org.br/cidadegrafica]
