Read full biographyBonnefrite, a prominent member of the French cultural scene, is an atypical and prolific graphic designer whose work is highly recognizable for its poetry and humour. He works with cultural organizations, architects, object-oriented designers and theatre companies. His theatre posters are often handpainted over a printed background, each of them being therefore unique. As a stage designer, he likes painting his backdrops live during the shows. He also draws signages with chalk on asphalt, makes prints from carved potatoes, tattoos (sometimes combined with the former), engravings on bananas or miniature advertisings on snails. This list would not be complete without quoting his innumerable exhibitions, workshops and children’s books. Eccentric Bonnefrite is furthermore a delightfully companionable and funny character.
