Fundación Arte y Mecenazgo

Pablo Juncadella

The project was to design an identity for an art foundation. The foundation is targeted at patrons, collectors, gallery owners and artists and aims to promote a more professional, more educated and more connected art market. As an important part of the identity, we created a typeface for titles (only uppercase) that has a more classic appearance when small and centered but allows exploration of more contemporary visual channels in larger sizes.

    Pablo Juncadella, Spain (2015)

Pablo Juncadella was born in Barcelona in 1977 and graduated with honours at Eina School of Design and Art (Barcelona) in 1999. He worked at Grafica and Pentagram London before founding Mucho (together with his partner Marc Catala). During his first 3 years of Mucho he combined running the studio with being the joint creative direction of the UK newspaper The Observer. Today Mucho incorporates the original independent studio mentality with partners in San Francisco, Paris and Barcelona.

Pablo's approach to design is focused on simplicity, wit and creative problem solving with an interest in typographic expression.

He is a teacher at Eina School of Design, director of the Masters degree on Graphic design At ELISAVA and co-author of “No somos hormigas”.
