Her visual language is defined by giving common things a new meaning. Using simple materials and everyday items such as paper, food, textiles and wood Sarah creates analogue installations which bring new perspectives onto familiar forms and content. These transformations, often with a sense of humor, remind us to look again at what we would otherwise glance over. Her object trouvé style works, both photographed and real, can be found in window displays, magazines, books and digital media across the world. By turning over these mundane items, she often reveals an essence that lies just below the surface and instils a sense of surprise.
