    Shinnoske Sugisaki, Japan (2001)

    Born in Nara, Japan, graduated from the Design Department of Osaka University of Arts in 1975, established his own studio in 1986. Sugisaki sees design as a process of constructing information to create impressions. His goal is clear and effective communication. Through his consistent design principle he has worked on a wide range of projects from cultural sectors to corporate branding, information design and spatial graphic. His works have been showcased in exhibitions and has given many lecture both domestically and internationally, actively presenting his experimental challenge.
    Sugisaki is Creative Director of Shinnoske Design; a professor at Osaka University of Arts. He also serves as a steering committee member of Japan Graphic Designers Association, JAGDA; a director of Japan Typography Association, JTA; a director of Designers Association, DAS; and a member of Tokyo Type Directors Club, TDC.
