    Alex Jordan is a graphic designer, photographer and (ancient) professor.

    1966: university entrance diploma. 1966–70: studies at the Kunstakademie, Düsseldorf (Academy of Fine Arts). This was followed by his first steps as an artist, husband, father, teacher and photographer.

    1976: arrives at the graphic studio Grapus in Paris.

    Learns about graphic design, in exchange for his own creative and political talents.

    1985: founded the photo collective le bar Floréal.

    1989: foundation of the graphic-design-group Nous Travaillons Ensemble in the interior of (1990 self-dissolving) Grapus with Ronit Meirovitz and Anette Lenz. (www.noustravaillonsensemble.fr)

    1990: National Graphic design award for Grapus (Pierre Bernard, Gérard Paris-Clavel, Jean-Paul Bachollet, Alex Jordan) after the break up of the group.

    1993 - 2013: professorship in the communication- and design department of the academy Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. (www.kh-berlin.de).
