Evelyn ter Bekke studied graphic design at the St Joost Academy of Visual Arts and Design in Breda (Netherlands). Upon graduating she joined the Karelse & den Besten Studio in Rotterdam (NL). Here she created books and catalogues; graphic identities; posters and communications for The Rotterdam City Art Center, the National Institute of Photography, and specialist publishers.

She lives and works in Paris since 1996. She founded Atelier ter Bekke & Behage, with Dirk Behage, in 1997.

Dedicated to creative graphics, their Atelier covers the whole field of communication — or in their words “public utility”: the elaboration of visual identities, printed editions, typography and creation of original characters, images / signs, electronic editions and Multimedia sites, scenography, signage.
