Poster Summit

"Obliquely Opposite" (Schräg gegenüber) is the title of a big poster exhibition in the Kunstmuseum Dieselkraftwerk Cottbus (Museum of Art in Cottbus, Germany), which takes place from November 7, 2010 to January 9, 2011. The exhibition, curated by Barbara Martin, celebrates the 20th anniversary of the unification of East and West Germany. She invited Helmut Brade, Erhard Grüttner, Heinz Handschick and Volker Pfüller from East and Günther Kieser, Uwe Loesch, Holger Matthies and Gunter Rambow from West to a "visual statement" of their work. The museum of contemporary art, photography, book art and poster design is situated 100 km southwesterly of Berlin in an excellent renovated former power plant. (poster by Uwe Loesch)

The influence of Epicureanspread across both the design and food worlds, inspiring young chefs and designers in equal measure.
