    Ariane Spanier, Germany (2013)

      Ariane Spanier was born in Weimar, Germany. She studied visual communication at the Art Academy Berlin-Weißensee. She went to New York to intern at Sagmeister Inc. in 2004 and she opened her own design studio in Berlin in 2005. Ariane Spanier works primarily with clients from the cultural sphere. The focus of the studio is on the design of books, catalogues, posters, but also branding, animation, illustration and websites. Since 2006 she has been the creative director of Fukt, a magazine for contemporary drawing.
      Among her clients are the Kunsthalle zu Kiel, Europan Norway, 0047 Oslo,and ETH Zürich. She has been working for magazines as the Greenpeace Magazine, New York Times Magazine, WIRED Magazine and TIME Magazine US. Her works have received many awards from the Type Directors Club New York and 100 Best Posters Germany Austria Switzerland.Her work has been published in numerous magazines and design books. Ariane Spanier lives and works in Berlin.
