Gabor Palotai - Zoo

Gábor Palotai

The Posters are the latest book by Gábor Palotai, ZOO. Here we meet the animals portrayed as an abstract art; sharply outlined in contrast with a mesmerizing pattern in light and dark. The effects of this white and black pattern enhance the impression that each animal is etched into the paper in a texture that evokes tactile sensibility. At the same glance each animal looks bound to the architectural outer shape of their image, their bodies are tattooed in undecipherable graphic patterns.
