Beautiful Capitalism

Cordula Alessandri

After the fall of the Iron Curtain, Alexander Doepel spoke to people from all walks of life who grew up in the Eastern Bloc but moved to the west before 1989. Among the people he interviewed were a cardinal, a spy, business people and writers. The interviews, which centred on their relationships with money, inspired the publication of a book – gold-bound, of course.
